3rd Race of the 2009 DixieProMod Racing Season
First Round of Qualifying 1st Round of Elimination
The First Pair out were the # 4 Qualifier E. Five Speed Hall taking on the # 5 qualifier R.Edlen. E.Five speed Hall took the tower side lane and R.Edlen took the outside lane. R.Edlen put a hole shot on E.Five Speed Hall and put the win light on in his lane first running a a winning E.T. of 4.24@ 169.02 to E.Five Speed Hall's faster but losing E.T of 4.23 @ 167.32.
The second pair up were the # 3 qualifier B.Baxley who went to the outside tower lane going against the # 6 qualifier P.Wallace in the tower side lane. B.Baxley went immediately into a tire shake and P.Wallace never looked back taking the win with a winning E.T. of 4.34 @ 160.11
The third pair out were #2 qualifier K.Baker taking the tower side lane and going up agianst on the # 7 qualifer Lynn Milner Baxley. K.Baker got out first on the starting line and took the win with a winning E.T. of 4. 15@ 173.81 to Lynn Milner Baxley's losing E.T. of 4:32@ 158.30
The last pair out in the first round were #1 qualifier J.Hancock taking the tower side lane and going up against the # 8 qualifier J.Thomas / Sandufer. J.Thomas / Sandufer got off the starting line first; however, J.Hancock had to much motor and brought home the win with a winning E.T. of 4.11@ 175.70 to J.Thomas / Sandufer's losing E.T. of 4.32@ 158.32
2nd Round of Elimination
The First pair out in the second round were K.Baker taking on P.Wallace. K.Baker who had lane choice went to the tower side lane. K.Baker took a hole shot on the tree and another great run with a winning E.T. of 4.24@ 164.32 to P.Wallace's losing E.T. of 4.46@ 136.27 The last pair out in the second round were J.Hancock with lane choice taking the tower side lane going against R.Edelen. Both drivers were dead even off the tree but J.Hancock ran another winning E.T. of 4.25@ 169.72 to R.Edelen's tire shaking losing E.T. of 7.06@ 69.33. Final RoundThe final round of the night saw the #1 qualifier and the #2 qualifier going up head to head. K.Baker had lane choice over J.Hancock. Without a doubt, this was the closest race of the night. J.Hancock took an advantage on the tree with a .471 blub to K.Baker's .491 light. J.Hancock took the win with a winng E.T. of 4.21@167.25 to K.Baker's losing E.T of 4.20@164.40. What a great race for the final run of the night.
